    The lost Valar are the Valar whom Tolkien wrote about in earlier works, but dropped by the time he wrote the Silmarillion. Some were actual Valar from outside Arda who sang Arda into existence, their particular qualities attracting Maiar of similar type. Some were children of these Valar who came into existence on the created Arda. Some became Maiar in the story. Some disappeared completely from the storyline, as Tolkien decided that the Valar had no children. These are interesting to explain for how the storyline developed and for role-playing aids. The addition of family gave them more complexity in their relationships.

Eonwe /Nornore/Fionwe (son of Manwe and Varda. Brother of Ilmare)
Ilmare/Erinte (daughter of Manwe and Varda, sister of Eonwe)

Nieliqui   (daughter of Orome and Vana. Orome is the brother of Nessa who is married to Tulkas. Vana is the daughter of Aule and Yavanna.)
