The Noldo, Auros, is sent by Elrond as one of the scouts checking

roads for safety before
the Fellowship goes forth with the Ring. His mission is to check the
Forest Path through Mirkwood, then past it
into
Erebor. But Sauron knows the Ring is abroad, and no path is safe. Work in Progress. A member
of the story-telling group died but the work continues now and
then.
