Edrahil was Chief of the Elves of Nargothrond who accompanied Finrod and Beren on their quest, and died in Sauron’s dungeons of Tol-in-Gauroth at the hand of the werewolf. It was wise of Edrahil to persuade Finrod to appoint Orodreth as his heir in Nargothrond before their departure, thus giving Orodreth a chance to stand against Celegorm and Curufin.
