    Third son of Fëanor (alias Turkafinwë, mothers-name Tyelkormo), called the Fair, held the region of Himlad with his brother Curufin, went to Nargothrond after the Dagor Bragollach, where they opposed Finrod and got the leadership for a while. Celegorm then imprisoned Luthien,after which Huan left Celegorm who had been his master. Eventually slain by Dior in the onslaught of Menegroth.

    Celegorm in Quenya is Turkafinwe "strong,powerful". His mother name, Tyelkormo, means "hasty riser", as a reference to his quick temper.
