Service

‘What service could a Hobbit
offer such a great lord of men?’

"The soul-searching of a young Hobbit from the Shire (now so far away as to seem almost dream-like) when he finds himself in the austere stone city of an even more austere lord.
Pippin is framed with apple branches, including one of those very fruit ready to fall when he leasts expect it; a small framed picture/mirror/window of the Shire in the distance and a Hobbit pipe above it.
"The tree and symbol of Gondor however rises in the foreground."
