This is a version of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring for the Gameboy Advance. It was published by Black Label Games.

It’s amazing that the same company that did well on the Xbox version could bomb so totally on the Gameboy Advance version. The controls are clunky at best and the world is very plain-looking. There is no music, no real ambience, or anything pertaining to a decent sound file. The basics are what one would expect in a turn-based RPG: inventory for each character, equipable items, etc. The interface, however is lousy, and leveling is few and far between for characters. The game has me stuck in Rivendell with no obvious way to leave (I’ve tried doing everything and talking to everyone).

Despite some interesting puzzles which hinted of promise, this is the one Lord of the Rings title I’ve played so far and have not enjoyed.
